This is may be clear cut to some people but I have a fetish for both classic Trans Ams and Corvettes in general.
Here’s the story:
Recently I’ve been searching for a classic car to work on for when I get back from Ft. Jackson, SC. I came across a both these cars at two different places. I found the ‘78 Corvette for $5000 from a guy who rebuilds classic cars, he hadn’t worked on the ‘vette yet. It was in excellent condition and with the exception that the seats need to be replaced.
I found the Trans AM from a Good Ole Boy who was getting tired of it sitting around. He offered me the same price however the engine had been removed so I would need to get it back under the hood. The owner has no idea how many miles are on it and the interior has terrible water damage. But he also told for an additional $1000 he would throw in a 81 Trans Am in a parts car. Now I love Trans AMs but this one does not have the T-top like Bandit’s car which to me is a major turn off.
Corvette hands down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi everybody, my sister won a Nintendo Wii, and we want to buy one of the Castlevania classical games of Nintendo, how can we buy or earn wii points?
you can buy them right in the Wii Shop if you have a credit card. otherwise, check wherever Wii games are sold.
I’m looking for some new reading. I want some really great books. I’ve temporarily exhausted my desire to read classics. I only read fiction or biographies. What’s that one book you would recommend to anybody? Thanks.
Illusions – Richard Bach
I own a classic 1971 SS 454 and I was wondering with the fall of GM…. could this perhaps effect the value of my car?
First off all even if GM files for bankruptcy,(which they won’t) that doesn’t mean they will disappear. Hundreds of companies continue to operate under bankruptcy and most of them emerge from bankruptcy a better stronger company. Bankruptcy does not automatically mean you shut the doors and close down. In fact it rarely means that. What it means is you are given time to re-organize, re-group and re-build and then re-invent yourself.
That is like saying when a person files for personal bankruptcy that they are never allowed to work or own anything ever again.
Now, back to your question. No, bankruptcy does not mean your car will gain value. Your cars rarity and condition is what dictates it’s value.
