What to know about buying a classic muscle car?

I need to know what i should know about buying a muscle car. Right now I’m looking at a second generation Camaro(1971) or a first generation Firebird(1969). I’m not too experienced with cars, I’ve just always love old muscle cars. I am going to go look at the ‘69 Firebird in a couple days and want to know some things I should look for and questions to ask. Your answers are GREATLY appreciated. Thanks.

Well make sure it appeals to you for sure. If there is something you dont like about it that doesnt fit the price, ask them to lower the price down in order to fix it. As far as the car itself, ask for a drive in it and see if you notice anything strange that isnt how it should be. Also see if it has been in any accidents or maintained well (kept records are always a plus)

how can i make my truck sound like a classic muscle car?

i have a 1993 chevy s-10 with a 4.3 v6 engine. i am looking for a muffler that will make it sound like a classic muscle car. any suggesions?

The only way is to DUMP the v6 and put a 350 in it, with a BIG cam in it.
If you want to do it right, put a 427 in it with 67 Corvette sidepipes. Not much will sound as good as that!
