    exactly, and the current is falling off at the top end of the track. Look on his website at the current curve. Needs more voltage. umm.. which is a bit scary to say, all things considered.

    I don’t think a bigger motor would help, the battery sag kills it as it is. comes off the line with 500hp, 700ft/lb+, and by the end of the run, its down to aroudn 150hp and like, 200ft/lb.

    John Wayland(aka Plasma Boy) has a rather interesting personality. The Hawker Aerobatteries in that thing are wicked powerful… He oughta dump the twin 8″ motors and go for twin 9’s. Up the power and torque a good number…
