I’ve owned a ‘69 Camaro since 1987 and I’ll never sell it! It sit’s in the garage under a car cover while my new car sit’s outside.

  3. Well not on every car but in most classics the longer you wait the more it will be worth. The only factors making it worth less is if it is a rare car and it isn’t in good condition parts will get harder to find. Also if something like another economic drop occurs you may have another problem

  4. Totally relative to what car you are talking about. Some will go up as they age, some will peak and then decline in value, so have already peaked and declined. So cars are just coming into consideration to be a ‘classic car’. You also have to take into account the brand. If Pontiac is really gone forever then the value of their ‘classic cars’ will decline as new generations because less interested or unfamiliar with Pontiac.

  5. I’ve owned my E-type since 1982 and have done 120,000 miles in it. Will keep it for my grandson who is at the moment 1 yr old. But why should you ask the question anyway? If your taste has changed and you no longer use it, sell it on to someone who will. It’s sad to see it just adorning your garage and anyway it’ll be a lot the worse for it.
