The Cog – Honda Advert

Awesome advert done a few years back, minimal graphics

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/europe/france/1427400/Lights-Camera-Retake.html

The Only CG used was on the car lights and in the middle section of the video where they had to stitch the sequences together because the room wasn’t long enough.

The spokes distribute the weight of the wheel unevenly, so that even a slight change in rotation can tip its center of gravity to the other side (overcoming the gradient of the slope, which is of course also precisely tuned).

That, however, is more often easier said than done. Goes to show just how much trial and error and error went into this thing.
