How are Corvette’s are GAY?
I know this guy who always say’s Corvette’s are "gay" (not just the new ones but the older ones too)
….but he drives a Miata .How does that make sense?!?
Corvette is a classic muscle car and a true American sports car ,and a Miata is a cheap Mazda.I love Japanese cars ,but a Mazda? WTF!
Corvette’s Gay? That’s a new one. The Mazda Miata has more women and gay men buyers than the Corvette or any other vehicle. Every male that I know that owns a Miata is gay or bi-sexual.

This guy you know seems like the type of person that has strong opinions about just about everything, in general! He reminds me of people I used to know that knows about a lot of little things about nothing!
Originally, the Miata’s target market was to women (and for the most part, still is), so I am not quite sure what he knows or thinks he knows about the history and lineage of the "cute" little "rubber band" car he drives!
Although I have never been a fan of the Corvettes, they certainly cannot be characterized as "gay"!

I love chevy Corvette’s, old and new. But a friend of mine took a miata and completely rebuilt it, ground up, it looks stock but it’s got a V8 engine under the hood and it’s done right, so it can go, if it wasn’t for the car’s profile it would stand up the front wheels.

The Corvette is the fastest car for the money, and although I’d rather buy a used Porsche for the price of a Corvette, they are still pretty awesome.
As for Miatas, people who say they are gay don’t get the point. Miatas are very light, rear wheel drive, and usually have manual transmissions. All of these things make them handle extremely well, and for the price, there are few cars, if any, that are as fun to drive. And while they may have less than 200 hp, that’s enough power to have fun in such a light car.

It’s a bit ironic that a Miata owner is ripping on a Corvette(much like the idiot we have posting here as Old Man Dirt).
Miata’s can make damn good autocross cars but that’s about it, they’re slow and cheaply made…they’re inferior to a Corvette….and yeah…most people I see driving a Miata are either woman or men that are a bit like woman lol

Those who drive a Corvette are more worried about appearing to be masculine or in current lingo "Alpha Types". Such persons tend to abuse cars, people and anything else that they can beat up on. Even "Old Men".
While they may not be gay, they tend to have a gender identity crisis going on some place the their heads.
While those who drive Miata sports cars tend to be more self assured. Know who they are and tend to be more compassionate to others, until provoked.
Cars can tell you a lot about a person, and your question says a lot about you.
Corvettes are over hyped, over rated and over priced. For the dollar a Miata is better, and if the owner were to spend as much money on his car as a Corvette owner does and did the results are fantastic. At least a Miata does not have a leaf spring in the back, a design for suspension that goes back to the model A.

The statistics that I have seen on sexual preference and car selection shows that Yellow Corvettes are the most preferred car for gay persons in the USA.
Do not take this to mean every one that drives such a car is gay, or that because they are not driving a yellow one that they are not.
Edit, I am sorry that my information is not current Tony. I came across that when I was studying to be a social worker, a few years back. Because I don’t feel a need to keep up with current trends in that area I will accept I was wrong.

Now the Corvette is great at what it is designed for, those who wish to impress others.
Isn’t it interesting that a former race car driver got a ticket doing a 130 MPH in one out in Calif? Which is about as fast as a stock one can run.

Trucks aren’t manly. Trucks are truck. You haul stuff in trucks – that’s why they’re made the way they are. If you’re driving a truck and not hauling anything around, you’re driving the wrong vehicle.
Corvettes are awesome. You’re right, they’re the classic muscle car and the ONLY true American sports car.
Miatas, on the other hand, are fantastic fun and true sports cars as well.
