Whenever I open up a classic game on my Wii such as Super Mario or Donkey Kong, there’s no sound. Is it suppose to not have sound? When I open up other games they have sound. Is it just classic games that have no sound or…?
I am using an old TV from the 90s and all cables are hooked up.
I don’t know much about the wii classic environment, but if you are using the S/PDIF connection (optical or "light pipe") to your stereo, the sound from the classic games may not be at a sample rate that your receiver can handle. This happens with certain models of stereo and PSX games on a PS2 (the sample rate changes when you put a PSX game in.) Try hooking up the RCA analog audio connections and see if the sound is coming out of there.
If this is a little over your head, sorry. You should have gotten some red and white audio cables with your wii; see if they’re hooked up.

It’s supposed to be like that… I have those classic games too, and I have no sound. It’s a shame, but I guess we cant do anything about it, lol.
