Are some of the parts off of a 1998 Chevy Malibu interchangeable with those of a 2004 Chevy Malibu Classic?

I own a 2004 Chevy Malibu Classic. I NEED to replace the drivers side headlight & housing, as well as my front brakes. My sister owns a 1998 Chevy Malibu that has a blown motor. She has offered to let me grab the parts I need before it goes to the junkyard… Will her good parts work?
