I painted the SCAR in Woodland Digital and the M24 in Multicam. Parts used in the SCAR: CA 6.03 inner barrel, Systema Gear Set, Madbull 110 Spring, EG1000 Motor, AAC SCAR Silencer, Magpul MIAD grip kit, LaRue FTTS & Eotech mounts, MilSpec 3x Magnifier, Hurricane Eotech. Parts used in the m24: PDI Palsonite Cylinder Kit, PDI SPR 250% spring, PDI Palsonite Bolt Handle, PDI Hop Up Chamber, G&G SS-80 Silencer, DB Customs 590mm 6.01mm Inner Barrel, Barska Huntmaster Pro 3-12x 50mm, Marine-Tex, Krylon, Mag from Cheap Shotgun Springer, Tactical X-Treme Extra-High Mount Rings, Cabelas Sandable Cheekrest. There are some other things in the video like some of my gear.

I can appreciate that. I just hate going out to an Airsoft game and seeing a 10 lb AR/AK with 8x scopes, or chinese VSR’s sporting a 12x scope. It’s only for the 2nd kind of cool and with that, reducing Field of view, and adding lbs to what should be a lightweight system.
Everyone should run light 1x optics/irons on an airsoft gun. Anything else is indefensible.

@stratelite Right, well the Larue mounts are handy for all sorts of stuff, had it around. Currently I dont use the magnifier often, too heavy. I dont trust reflex sights. Too unreliable. Hurricane is best for replicas (ive used it on some real steel for some light work)… For airsoft i do agree, totally not necessary but i find it faster and easier. Within a certain limited range bbs still go where the red dot is and on the hurricane its probably 4 MOA with a huge circle around it.

@JohnGaltAlias Oh, I just recognized LaRue and assumed if you were putting that mount on there, the optic would be real too.
If irons do not give you the desired target acquisition, that’s understandable. I’d say go with a lightweight reflex.
I run irons on my VSR-10 shooting 600 fps. I find the reduced ounces and hangups in brush a HUGE benefit. and yet I still manage 3″ groups at 120 ft, and 8″ at 200 Ft. Past that my .43g BBs fall right to the ground.

@stratelite You realize it says “Hurricane Eotech” right? And yes, I would completely agree, Id almost say, tape a stick on the end. But taht would look silly and I am not going to deal with 2 sighting planes. Id much rather have one. Also my front sight fell off recently…

Way to mount a $1000 worth of optics on a $500 AEG. Unless they are replicas, which in that case you might want to update the annotations. Also, scopes are just extra weight on any airsoft rifle. plastic BBs terminate balistically at 300′ regardless of FPS. Realistically 200′ is the max range you can guarantee a hit, and if you can’t hit a humanoid at the distance, no amount of TACTICOOL gear will help you.

@Kingtwinz Thanks. Whats the point of shooting the SCAR? Its nothing special really. 380fps, systema gear set…thats about it. I dont run LiPos in it. I think i will be getting a KJW GBBR soon, ill do a video for that.

@Paintballking6 Well, that would require buying templates and I dont have anything I want to paint in multicam yet, but soon I think I will be getting a new gun… a GBB and then I will have a reason too. I can do a quick video explaining it all though, might help but I wont really be doing any demonstrating.
