Does anyone know a good, cheap place to get parts for a classic Beetle?

I need some things like bumpers, running boards, seatbelts…little stuff.

  3. JCWhitney has been making beetle parts since the 60’s… I’m not sure about how all of the parts quality are, but they are normally cheap, and pretty good. it sounds like you arent trying to make a show car. so go here, order a magazine specifically for a vw, and it is free. and you will keep getting them for free every now and then too. or you can just look up parts online. they offer a TON of parts too

  5. I have found the best place to get parts for an older beetle is via swap meets and finding a local club close to you.. I have had many vw’s over the years and found that west coast metric is about the most reliable when it comes to quality and shipping time.

  6. Thesamba.com is the best place online. You can find almost anything you want. go to the classified and then Parts, year and type of VW. I have bought from here several times. I have never been burned by any of the sellers but I will always give this disclaimer: NEVER SEND CASH! Always leave a paper trail for your files.
